Sweet almond oil is a natural fixed oil obtained by the cold-pressed method from the sweet kernels of the almond tree. It has high amounts of protein, essential fatty acids oleic and linoleic (omega-6 and omega-9) and vitamin A. The seeds of different types of almonds contain 43-58% fixed oil. Bitter almond oil is rich in essential and polyunsaturated fatty acids.
It can be used externally in skin care by massaging. It helps in nourishing and moisturizing the skin.
