Horsetail, in its essence and the phytoncides it contains, soothes coughs and facilitates expectoration. Nettle flowers also contain salivary flavonoids, essence, sugars and saponins and are recommended as a softening and expectorant in common cough, whooping cough and bronchial infections. Poppy has soothing properties in the entire respiratory system, calms the cough and eliminates its irritation. Oregano helps expel phlegm and heals the respiratory tract.

Remove from heat, cover and let rest for 10 minutes. It is strained and drunk sweetened with honey or sugar as desired and can be taken 2-3 teas a day.
