Mint leaf tea is a very refreshing tea, quite popular and used in North African countries such as Morocco. It is known for its ability to calm the nervous system, reduce flatulence (gas and bloating), stimulate the bile and is used as a rehydrator in conditions of diarrhea and gastrointestinal disturbances. Mint is rich in menthol and tannins. This tea can be enjoyed with a little ice decorated with fresh mint leaves.
